As I hold your hand in mine
Your eyes that twinkle with so much life
I know as stars they shine
I know that as I write this down
You re watching, taking care
Of all that I hold dear to me
So I never need despair
Im happy for you where u are
With the one you love the most
I picture you both arm and arm
Sitting watching from your post
I thought of you this mothers day
Its strange that were apart
I think of you at the weirdest times
So I know you re in my heart
I know that when I think of you
At strange times such as this
That youve come down to check on me
And left me with your kiss
So when I miss you on these days
I do not shed a tear
For I know that when I need you most
You will always be here
To let all of you know that just because somebody isn't here in the flesh does not mean that they can't take care of you. I know that I'm being looked after and I am thankful for that So if you have lost someone important to you take time out today and go into a quiet room and just sit there and talk to them. I find that a solution to my problems always comes along in one form or another when I ask for help.
