America, at it's worst, and at i'ts best
Rating: PG-13
Quality: (Quality: Unrated)
The plane flew
A gun shot
The pilot's face filled with shock
The Two Towers stood
With honor and pride
Carefully protecting the people inside
But this protection would soon be broken
Not another word would ever be spoken
By the people who stared
And were profoundly scared
Of the plane descending from the sky
And as their fear mounted
They knew there was no number to be counted
Of the inoccent souls that would soon die
And as the crash sounded
Thousands bounded
From the towers that would soon be grounded
And as the flames burned
And fears churned
You could hear the bangs
And feel the pangs
As people jump to their fate
And as you heard the screams
And the falling beams
You pretended it was just a bad dream
And when it was finished
All souls diminished
You thought you were the only one left
But then a flag rose
As a symbol of hope
That although many lives were tossed
Not all was lost
