1 A long explanation to the replies why punkers are not cool)

I realize that the person who replied to the first person here had a right to say what he/she did. The first person was judging 'punks' completely wrong anyway. Don't try to define punk or make a list such as "10 ways to tell you're punk" because you WILL get negative feedback NO MATTER WHAT Labels (goth, punk, prep, etc.) are ways to organize the human race by setting them into different...well...Labels. Those who consider themselves anarchists and are "against the government" are just promoting the government by putting yourselves into labels. If 'punks' say they are being "different" there is a label for what you are doing and i'm not saying you all dress the same because (obviously) you don't and you are all different and individual but that is exactly what sets you into the label of punk so being different isn't what makes you punk, it's the idea of being different that makes you the same. (Hopefully, you understand what I'm saying) I'll most probably be corrected and get a bunch of replies for what I wrote but if it makes you happy, go right ahead. That will put you in a label called "ignorant." Here is a copy of what everone is talking about (next i will settle the U.S./ Canada feud)

Reason 7 why punks are NOT COOL: If you call yourself a punk then you are a poser, you have taken on a comerial trendy identity that is not your own, and you have no right to call anyone else a poser since that is what YOU are being.

Reason 8 why punks are NOT COOL: the punk style has been around for 25 years and you are just copying it. That is the OPPOSITE of original and creative. that is conformity. Also why do you care about looks so much? Go be original and creative IN GENERAL not just about YOUR CLOTHES. damn you are shallow people.
