1.) If life begins at conception (so let's first take the pro-life's stand) The whole issue at debate would be whether or not the child's life is more important than the woman who the child is carried by. So now in a conflict of interest (since we are assuming a a 3-4 month ball of cells can "want" things), who should we listen to? The mother or the child? the decision is really up to you, but it seems to me that at this level, whose voice we listen to can really go either way.
2.) If life does not begin at conception (for the pro-choice), then having an abortion is really the same as getting treatment for cancer (since both are abnormal, unwanted masses of dividing cells indistuiguishable from the host)
3.) If life begins at conception AND it's wrong to kill it, what happens if the mother dies (car accident, labour complications etc... I don't want to be morbid), taking the baby with it, is she STILL a killer? is she STILL going to be damned to hell since she MURDERED her own child?? No? Then why the hell not? it's the same thing isn't it? So in other words, it's only okay to kill a baby if you kill yourself too? Man, now that's harsh...
