1 father's love for his child..a poem

As a little girl runs around,
Her dad looks on with pride,
Those days seem long ago,
Those days when he cried,
She was born 4 weeks premmature,
Her body tiny and thin,
He willed her spirit to survive,
She meant everything to him,
But her mother bled to death,
To give her little girl life,
Tears flowing down his face,
As he said goodbye to his wife,
His little girl's growing up fast,
But he doesn't seem to mind,
He's rememeber the good times,
He's leaving the past behind.
