Ways to tell you’ve survived your 1st year of college:
u were paired with random roommates who you grew to love
you were drunk more on Tuesday and Thursday nights than all weekend combined
you realized that the microwave is just as good as any stove
you hooked up with more guys/ girls in the 1st month of school than you did in the rest of the year combined
the love of your life boyfriend/girlfriend from home was history the moment you stepped on campus
you’ve learned that leeds vodka and natural ice beer are better than apple juice and water
cranberry juice really does help
you forgot almost everyone you met at those all night frat parties
speaking of frat parties, any guy you meet at a fraternity house has to be bad news, and you most likely learned that the hard way
for the guys, you learned that sorority girls can most likely out drink any of your guy friends
the only sports you play are beer pong and flip cup even if you were voted most athletic in high school
freshman 15,20,25 etc… is very common and is a surefire way to tell if you enjoyed yourself at school
you’re GPA was well under the 4.0 your parents expected
you’ve been to many bars although you are under 21
your AIM never signs off, rather it gives your every move for those who check away messages
you have had a boy/girl spend the night without even knowing their last names
you never realized how good it is to be home
college is just like it is in the movies, if you dorm at your school you have realized that 1st hand
you know at least 3 people who picked up some kind of sickness from fooling around the night before
you have gotten a hickey from a boy/girl and don’t know anything about them… maybe not even their name
you have had a multiple night ( im sure you know what I mean)
you have learned that the friends you make in college are the best things in the world and no matter how many failures you have encountered you can count on them to help you out
