1 A cute diving pun

The best diver in her country,( we'll call her sally) was going to the next level of competitions. Now usually, she is never nervous before a comp. but this one was different, she began to think: " Oh no, what if I mess up, or what if I get hurt between now and then, or what if I get sick"???? and as many other reasons as she could to be nervous.
Her friend (we'll call her Darla) Decided, that Sally needed to take her mind off this comp. so that night, she took her to the movies, and shopping. ( It was the day before the comp.) Sally had such a great time that she forgot all about her worries, and was totally relaxed.......
Until she got to the top of the diving board. All of her worries came flooding back to her: " what if I mess up? oh I'll be so ashamed, I'll have to quit, Oh no, what will happend if I quit? Oh no." Then she heard the whistle, which ment she had to dive, so she dived, and since she was so caught up in her worries, she just did a plain and simple dive, instead of the three and a half turn pike she was supposed to do. Oh boy had she ever messed up, so the moral of this story is:
DONT THINK AND DIVE
