I was living in a body that had gone insane
My heart knew of nothing but hatred and pain
Of all the guys I thought I could trust
I guess the love I felt for them was nothing but lust
It started with him…he treated me fine
But one day he didn’t want me, so he drew the line
I fell into pieces; I was so confused
My heart felt so begotten, tortured and used
Then the next guy came along, leaving my memory of the other behind
I thought I loved him so much, until he treated me unkind
He said he would never hurt me or treat me bad
But his loving words were all I had
I trusted him with my heart and soul
Until one day he messed up, and I had to let him go
I felt so alone with a heart so sad
But then you came along; so cute, yet so bad
We always got along; we hardly ever fought
I was living a dream, until I heard what you thought
Just because I wasn’t everything you wanted or expected
You decided to play me and just leave me rejected
My life was already miserable, and I’m already hurt
I didn’t need you to make the pain any worse
After that I had no one on my side
I tried to smile and fight the pain, but it was too difficult to hide
But then I couldn’t help myself, one day it just hit me
I never stopped loving him and I wanted him so greatly
I know he’ll never give me a chance, or a second try
Now all I do is sit here, not knowing what to do but cry
They say he’s leaving; I don’t want him to go
I only wish he would listen; I only wish I could let him know
He doesn’t care about me the way I care for him
I can’t live this life anymore, who would want something so grim?
If only he knew, I would do anything to make it work
Im too scared to tell him how i feel, because i don't want my heart abused by a jerk
