I fell in love with my ex-boyfriend. But he being my ex and all, I couldn't tell him. I couldn't even consider it.  We were just starting to be friends again. I thought we might eventually go out again because my friends and other people were saying he was looking at me like he wanted more. I saw the look too. He always got this sad, upset, confused look when other guys came up and talked to me. I was so mad at him. I thought 'Well, Mike, if you like me...do something about it. Don't sit there and look sad.' Then a few months passed and we became normal friends. He's a normal 13 year old guy, so of course he sometimes 'accidently' touched an area of my body but I knew he's only a guy and it didnt mean he wanted me. But I still wanted him, I had loved him all along. But nobody knew. Not even my best friends.
Then he started going out with this other girl from my basketball team. That just confirmed the fact that he didn't like me as more than a friend. I was crushed. It hurt. I never had my heart broken like that before. He didn't know, and he doesn't know now.
Despite the fact that it took a while to come to grips with the fact that I had missed out on him, I learned something. I learned that it was a crush. Yeah, I still like Mike. But I don't love him. He's a guy, and not the only guy. I learned that my 'love' for Mike was just one stop on my road of crushes and heartbreaks.
So if anybody is expierencing what I just expeirenced, I want to let you know that its not the end of the world, in fact its just the beginning.
