A DRUNK DRIVER

i stayed really late
not realizing that my life was at stake,
I stayed for a while
i had a few beers,
and then i walked out
stumbling with fear
i was so drunk i couldnt drive home
but what else what i do?
i was all alone
every body had left
i was the only one there
so i got in the car
and started to drive
my life passed before my eyes.
i ran a red light onto oncoming cars
and before i knew it
I was lying on the street waiting to die,
because i got behind the wheel
when i had one to many beers.
i had killed two babys
and injured myself
while the mother sobbed
she had no one else
so why do people do it??
