That is the question we ask ourselves. Even those who are the BIGGEST Roman Catholics, I bet the Pope has thought about this question a few times but I no what else people are thinking.
Where was God on September 11?
Where was God when people were dieing of illness?
Where was God when a child is born dead?
All these quesitons are answered "He's just everywhere" right?
But how come he's everywhere at one time?
Do people just say that to cheer ourselves up?
Do people go to him becos there's no-one else to run too?
God is supposed to be our everything. Even with all these questions, no-one can answer because there is no physical evidence. People just get such things from the Bible. The book which all of the writers have written in. The book all faiths turn too. Even though there is no physical evidence of who wrote the book, why are there so many schools following by such words?
God is the man that we turn to for guidance and support. Even those who do not have faith still go for him when times go bad. Some people learn to believe in him and his followers but some do not. The question that we first asked, well the respones that we get is entirely up to you but I ask you this.
Why do some people get healed?
Why do those who ask God for things sometimes get them?
Why do people choose to believe in him without physical evidence?
Why are some people Martyrs?
The things we can't answer aren't up to evidence. It's up to what we believe. If someone asks you do you believe there is a God then stand up strong and say what you have to say. Don't be ashamed because at the end of the day, its a matter of opinion but really, I believe God IS everywhere.
Now your wondering well people wouldn't be getting hurt if God was everywhere but if we didn't suffer any pain then we wouldn't be humans. We would always expect the best results and be heartless. If we learn from our mistakes then we can make the right things happen for ourselves than the bad ones. We can help ourselves to help others. so remember...
God was there on September 11. He was the fireman helping all those that got killed and injured. Those who suffered their lives to help the people in the wreckage.
God was there when people die of illness. He was there all the steps of the way with them and now he's with their families, helping them to be steady again.
God was there when a child was born dead. He helped the mother through the pain and suffering and he helped the baby be carryed up to home with him. And he helped them to give birth to anthoner child 9 months later.
Belief is all it took to help me...the question is now up to you.
