Not wanting to fall
into another web of lies,
knowing though, I will,
when i look into your eyes.
You have left me alone,
abandoned and crying.
And there is nothing that you do,
though you know that i'm dying.
You watch as I suffer
and take away no pain.
I can't believe I let you in,
I don't believe i'm cryign again.
Your words had charmed me
and reeled me in,
but as they say
true evil lies within.
Your eyes, once beautiful
suddenly loose their appeal
And the things people say
become so ugly...so real.
"try and push yourslef away,
make him prove he's really true,
give him some time,
and let him miss you"
I back away as i should have before
and look at this picture in whole.
Although I have given you my heart,
I can still save my own soul,
I shall no longer mould so easily
and conform to your dreams.
And realize and tell myself,
that nothing is hwat it seems....
