to try to change the world.
You said you didn't know what would happen out there,
It was something my heart just could not bear.
Now I know you're safe,
at least for today
but what will happen tomorrow
its just too hard to say
You say you miss me,
and can't wait to come home
I'll be waiting also,
I just can't stand to be alone.
We tried our love once,
we broke each others hearts
But lately without you
My world has fallen apart.
When you love a Marine,
there is no greater challenge.
Because to love a Marine,
you have to live without them.
But those who are in love
With the nations greatest force
Receive the greatest love there is
when they come home, of course
