hey all u out there, for people who think that there sport is so hard and that theirs is the only true sport, well get a grip im a swimmer and we get up every morning at 3:50 AM and practice from 5:00 to 6:15 in the morning,working our butts off, then we have to hurry to school. after that we have to hurry home from school have about 30 min. to do homework go back to the pool for 2 and a half to 3 hrs get home at about 9, and we still have homework to finish. we do that everyday for 6 days a week somethimes 7 all that doesnt even include the meets wow- they r 3 days long usually running from about 6 am to about 6 or 7 pm. our sport takes so much DEDICATION and HARD WORK we swim about 6-7 miles for one workout and swimming 1 mile is equal to running 3 miles because the water has 12 times the resistance. plus we us every single freakin muscle in our body we work so hard that when we are done we literally throw up think about it, we have no breaks, no half times, we swim constantly plus u have to keep REALLY GOOD technique or else u will get a swimming injury that will end oyur swimming carrer forever. swimming is a real sport u have to put up with so much unbearable PAIN to succeed plus swiming is one of the only mental sports too when we r done we are phisically and mentally tired all u other sports say well we have to run so much well get a life we have dryland before practice and we run so much and do push-ups and tons of ab work, and all of that doesnt even include weights if u mess up, or dont make the time in practice, u do it until u do. also if u think that swimming is not a good sport, then why is our sport in the olymipics and some of your sports arent- think about it
