did the chicken lay a noodle... do you remember that? i do it was hilarious at the time but now it makes me sad. you left us and then i didn't know why. behind you left your mother, 3 younger sisters, 2 brother-in-laws, 2 neices and 3 nephews aswell as many friends. you never got to meet little kallum peties brother, but i know it doesnt matter because you are a part of him. when i found out that you had passed away i felt empty inside, even though i knew that you wouldn't wake up again i couldn't cry. at your funeral all i could do was cry. daddy told me that you wouldn't want me to be sad as you were in a better place with pop. but i couldn't help it and aunty judy was telling me to let it out. they gave me a rose to put on your coffin i put it on and then some of your mates put that bottle of alcohol on to it aswell, i know you would have liked that. mummy started crying as we left the grave, it was the first tim i saw her cry. we went back to aunty dianes and as cassie and i were playing in the sunroom one of your mates and his girlfriend came up to us. it made me feel a bit better that you had such caring friends. when i got home i hid nicholas because i couldn't bear (get it?) to be reminded of you. i found him a few months later when i was cleaning my room i gave him a giant hug because it was like seeing you again. i have only spent a few nights without him now. but when i feel sad or i am missing you i hold him near. i know you hear me when i talk to you. this year you would have been so proud of both gareth and i. he turned 18 and graduated from high school with dux of technology, this from the boy that you scared on the slide and i turned 16 and came second in public speaking. i am also doing small business, it reminds me of when cassie and i had those little "shops". we all love you and miss you terribly. i know that you are up there with pop, grandma and grandpa watching down on me and gareth with a beer in your hands. whenever i need you i look at your star, hold nicholas and hear the words of "together again" because

i know you helped me with my speech because i asked you and i got it i love you uncle al forever and for always
