10 of the Stupidest Law in the United States

O.K. I had compiled a list of laws that are so completly stupid or useless that they made me wonder what them people up in Congress are doing every day. I swear these people must have been smoking or drinking something. Well here they are.

1. Alabama
Law: It is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle.


2. Flordia
Law: A special law prohibits unmarried women from parachuting on Sunday or she shall risk arrest, fine, and/or jailing. (By the way I'm going to try this one cause I live near Flordia.)

3. Indiana
Law: Bathing is prohibited during the winter. (I'm not moving to Indiana.)

4. Iowa
Law: Kisses may last for as much as, but no more than, five minutes. (I would break this law so many times jail would be like home.)

5. New Mexico
Law: Females are strictly forbidden to appear unshaven in public.(Another sexist law. What about little girls or women whos religion doesn't allow them to do that?)

6. Washington
Law: All lollipops are banned. (this one must have happened because the govenor didn't the get the flavor of lollipop that he wanted)

7. Georgia
Law: A chicken is not allowed to cross a road.(Now this is where I live, so I'm going to get a chicken and make it cross the street.)

8. Kentucky
Law:All bees entering Kentucky shall be accompanied by certificates of health, stating that the apiary from which the bees came was free from contagious or infectious disease. (Umm.... why would bees have certificates?)

9. Kentucky
Law: A woman may not buy a hat without her husband's permission. (Now I tried to keep each law to a differnt state, but this one pissed me off. When I get married I'm going up there and buying myself a damn hat.)

10. Texas
Law: You can be legally married by publically introducing a person as your husband or wife 3 times. (Before I go to Kentucky, I'm going to drop by Texas and get married.)
