1 a sad story

i had a friend that was very depressed. she had liked 2 guys n trusted them then they hurt her very bad. she would always carve in her arms with saftey pins and other sharp objects. she would write words and draw pictures on her arms or legs or ankles. her mom found out about that and took away all of her saftey pins, but she still got more, then her mom made her show her her arms everyday so that she didnt carve in her arms anymore. she told everyone at school that if she didnt come to school then she was dead. well, she wasnt at school one day and me and my other friend heather were really worried about her. we called her and there was no answer. then school started and our first class was reading me n my friend heather couldnt read all we could do was cry. so we went up to the office to talk to the counsler and the vice pricipal. they kept callin her house and no one was answering. everyone was tellin us that she was ok. but we couldnt belive them. then my friend heather was sent back to class cos she wasnt as upset as i was. then my other friend ashley came up there to sit with me and we were in talking to the vice prinicpal and she asked me if i had any notes that talked about my friend being depressed or commiting suicide i had a lot that talked about that. so my friend ashley went to go get my binder. i gave all my notes to her n she read them n kept them. i decided to go back n try to do class. then it was lunch n i asked my choir teacher if i could use his phone and at first he wouldnt let me then he looked at me and saw that i was cryin and he could tell that some thing was wrong. so he let me call my friend and she said that the counsler called her n that she was thinking about doing it but that when he called then she decided not to and her mom came home to check on her. she siad that if it wasnt for me and heather goin to the office thent she would have done it. and now she is not depressed at all. she has a good group of friends and a good boyfriend that she has been with for a long time.
i learned from this that if your friedns say ANYTHING about suicide dont take it as a joke and tell an adult and be there for your friend as much as you can. if you are going through this or anything like this email me and i would be glad to help you out. lots of love. XOXO.
