“Yah I am calm down” Mandy yelled down the stairs.
“If you don’t get the hell down these stairs in 10 minutes i'm going to leave with out you” Katie said well waiting at the bottom of the stairs. 5 minutes later Mandy walked down the stairs.
“ok i’m ready” Mandy said it always took Mandy long to get ready she was one of those people who always wanted to look her best but today she wanted to look even better it was her and her boyfriend Paul’s 10 month anniversary.
“Come on lets go jenny is going to be waiting for us.” Katie said to Mandy.
“HEY GUYS” jenny yelled in her usual loud voice, “Mandy are you all excited for today?”
“No” said Mandy trying to sound like she didn’t remember.
“Don’t lie to me” jenny said
“Ok you got me jenny yah i’m totally excited I can’t wait to get to school” said Mandy in a happy voice.
“Well lest go already” Katie yelled
As they walked to school they meet up with some other friends they all went into the school. Mandy and Paul where the hottest couples in school every one knew it was there special day.
“Hey Mandy” said drew. Drew was minds best friend
“Hey drew” “Mandy Paul is waiting for you at your locker you better go see him don’t want to be late for class.” Mandy was always late for class.
“Thanks drew I will see you at lunch” as Mandy was walking up the stairs she could see Paul waiting at her locker with flowers.
“Hey Paul” said Mandy trying not to sound too excited.
“Hey sweetie” “are those for me???” asked Mandy
“of coerce who else would they be for” said Paul “thanks” said Mandy and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.
“And there is one more thing” said Paul, Paul had wanted to get Mandy something really special because they have been going out for a long time
“Really” said Mandy.
“close your eyes” said Paul sounding very excited he had pick out the perfect gift “here open” as Mandy open her eyes Paul slipped a ring on her finger
“ oh my god” said Mandy sounding shocked “oh my god oh my god I… I love it” said Mandy almost about to cry
“this is my promise ring to you I promise that I will always be there for you no matter what happens to us weather we are together or not” “I love you Mandy and I want to be with you forever” “you will always be in my heart as I will be in yours” RING
“that’s the bell Mandy get to class I don’t want you to be late” they both laughed. Paul walked Mandy to class as Mandy walked in the class she showed off her new ring to all her friends
“holy crap you are so lucky Mandy that is so sweet” said Katie.
That day at lunch everything was going great they all hung out at lunch and talked about the party that there friend was having and they where going to go to that night. At the end of school Katie and jenny went to minds house to get ready for the party. Paul was going to be picking them up at 8 o’clock to go to the party. All the girls where up stairs just when the door bell rang
“MOM CAN U GET THAT” Mandy yelled down the stairs it was Paul. The three girls ran down the stairs “ok lets go said Mandy
“now now girls just wait” said Mandy’s mother
“yes mother” said Mandy she knew what she was going to say
“ now there is to be no drinking you got that and that goes for you too Paul”
“Yes Mrs. Howard” said the two girls and Paul. They all pilled into the car, just as they got to the party jenny saw some of her friends
“guys I will be right back” said jenny and then took off. That night was going good they where all having fun, none of them where drinking or anything it was a good party around 1o’clock am Paul took the girls back to Mandy’s house.
“good night Mandy” and gave her a kiss “night Paul” talk to you tomorrow at school ok” “drive safely please”. All the girls went into the house and got ready for bed. The next mooring it was hard for them to get up but they did it. That morning at school everything was going good but one thing was wrong Mandy didn’t know where Paul was
“hey drew” Mandy said sounding worried
“hey whets wrong?” asked drew
“have you seen Paul?”
“no not at all” “why” asked drew
“ well because this morning I went up to my locker and Paul wants there like he normally is”
“maybe he sleep in”
“I don’t know” said Mandy “I think I’m going to call his house just to make sure” Mandy pulled out her cell phone and dilled his number ring ring pails mother picked up the phone
“hello” Paul’s mother said sounding upset
“is Paul there he is not at school and I think he might have slept in”
“Mandy is that you” asked Paul's mother
“yes what’s wrong” asked Mandy
“you mean no one told you” said Paul's mother
“what do u mean no one told me you are starting to scared me” said Mandy begging to worried even more.
“I think you better come here I think I should tell you thin in person” said Paul's mother Mandy hung up the phone and ran to Paul's house she didn’t even have time to get her jacket Mandy got to the house and ran inside
“what’s wrong where is Paul” said Mandy she looked at Paul's mother and could tell she had been crying.
“Mandy sit down” “last night after Paul drove you home he was in a car crash and is in the hospital they don’t think he is going to make it” pails mother began to cry “what” yelled Mandy and cried with her
“this cant be happening” just then the phone rang it was Paul's father “Mandy we have to go to the hospital right now” said Paul's mother so they both went into the car the didn’t say a word to each other they just both sat there. When they go to the hospital Paul's father was crying
“what’s wrong” said Paul's mother “where is my boy”
“hunny I’m sorry” but Paul didn’t make it” said Paul's father. Mandy just sat there in tears. That week Mandy didn’t go to school she just sat at home.
“Mandy hunny I think you better go to school” said her mother
“ok” said Mandy this time it only took her 20 minutes to get ready she didn’t care any more but when she got to school every was good to her trying not to talk about Paul, they all know how hard it was for Mandy the lover of her life to be killed like that. But days weeks and months went on and now Mandy is 22 years old with a life of her own a husband and 2 kids but she still wears the ring that Paul bought her around her neck and will all ways remember the words he said to her when he gave her this ring
