and remembered what u said.
u told me not to drink, mom
so i had a sprite instead.
i felt proud of myself,
the way u said i would,
that i didn't drink and drive,
though some friends said i should.
i made a healthy choice,
and ur advise to me was right,
the party finally ended,
and the kids drove out of sight.
i got into my car,
sure to get home in 1 piece,
i never knew what was coming, mom
something i expected the least.
now im lying on the pavement,
and i hear the policeman say,
the kid that cause this wreak was drunk,
mom, his voice seems far away.
my own bloods all around me,
as i try hard not to cry,
i can hear the parametic say,
this girl is going to die.
im sure the guy had no idea,
while he was flying high,
because he chose to drink and drive,
now i would have to die.
so y do people do it, mom
knowing that it ruins lives?
and now the pain is cutting me,
like a hundred stabbing knives.
tell my sister not to be afraid, mom
tell my daddy to be brave,
and when i go to heaven,
put daddy's girl on my grave.
someone should of taught him,
that it is wrong to drink and drive.
mabe if his parents had,
i will stay alive.
my breath is getting shorter, mom
im getting really scared.
these r my final moments,
and in so unprepared.
i wish that u could hold me mom,
as i lie here and die.
i wish i could say "i love u" one last time,
so i love u and good-bye.
looking down from heaven,
i could c u and daddy cry,
i could hear ur pray eveynight,
u r wishing that i did not die.
i can c my empty room,
and all the pictures of us together,
those were wonderful times,
only if they lasted forever.
i miss u very much,
and i c u miss me too,
as i follow ur every move,
i just want to come down and kiss u.
4 all the drunk drivers out there i hope u learn someday that its wrong to drink and drive because u my lose ur life or others.4 all of u out there that have hurt someone i hope u feel guilty and have a big pit in ur stomach.please dont learn the hard way,just dont drink and drive
