111!!! No dad here to comfort

this poem is about my friend who hasnt seen her dad since she was little. I know how hard it is for her to grow up not knowing him and felt that everyone should read this. All guys who read it never do to your children what my friends dad did to her.

Expectations that are to high
rules and obligations to follow.
Asinine words that are supposed
to be the truth follow, the light.

Missing parts that need to be there
times when it's okay just to sit and cry.
People not being able to understand
the feelings that are there.

Fifteen years old grown up so quickly without
time to sit and think about all.
Child memories are supposed to be of playing
not hardship and troubles.

Sometime actions speak louder than words
but even just to hear your voice say it's okay.
That voice isn't even there
a piece of the puzzle that is missing.

Soon to be found in time
but that clock won't tick fast enough.
Not thinking before actions with mistakes made
that turn out to be miracles that alter lives.

Daddy's little girl that just needs help
to realise all that is gone but not lost.
There is hope to think that things will change
as the last piece to the mystery of life is complete.

Every moment that goes by can't be taken back
no matter how hard you try.
The brightness and comfort of those three simple words
will be said again in a loving embrace.

There is still time to think why it all went on
not thinking you would need comfort in struggles.
Forget the past and move on all the tears have been cried
for there is a tomorrow that is blank and waiting to be coloured.
