Let It All Go
sad eyes
tears dried
frowning lips
trying to hide
behind a smile
so sweet so dear
but to my eyes
your pain is clear
because i know this
technique all to well
your heart is hurting
and begining to swell
your bones they hurt
so deep in your soul
and you hide it so well
most do not know
your wear a smile
each and everyday
and help people
while your on your way
to do the things
you have to do
and get through the stuff
you have to get through
but honey let me tell you
you cant do this to you
it just cant happen
it wont do
you're just hurting youself more
you're dying inside
because its your real feelings
you are trying to hide
just let it all go
let it be free
dont hide or be ashamed
for ppl to see
Little Things, Big Favors
everyone make mistakes
this we all know
thats just life,
the way things go
we will all have our troubles
our spites and despairs
we will all have times
when we scream that its just not fair
but we will all also have times
that we cherish and love
times that couldn't be better
no matter what
but only if we decide
that life's troubles wont get in our way
they wont bother and haunt us
each and everyday
and if we decide
to let them roll off our chests
we have to try
to do our best
theres no such thing as perfection
and that is so true
but why not try our best
in all that we do?
why cut ourselves short
say i cannot do this
without even trying
with a fight and a fist
why is it that its so hard
to smile at our neighbor
when just a smile
can be a big favor
a reminder that
it will be alright
both throughout today
and tonight
a smile that says
someone knows I'm here
I'm not invisible
because they see me there
or a hug
just a simple thing
that can make our hearts
laugh and sing
it comforts us
and keeps us warm
when we're sad
and our hearts are torn
so when you start off today
make sure theres time
to let someone know
they're doing just fine
don't hold the grudge
don't hate life
don't say its against you,
you'll be alright
smile at the girl crying
and give a hug to a friend
tell them your glad
you got to see them again
and make definite sure
that you've told yourself
its okay, and you love you too
because there's no better thing to do
It Has To Be
nothing worth having
ever comes easily
they make it as hard
as it can be
to get what your wanting
needing and have the desire for
but i wont let that get in my way
no not anymore
so I'm gonna stand up
in front of you today
and tell you something
i have to say
"hello I'm Lisa
and you know me
I'm 5 ft tall
and cute as can be
I'm fourteen
and live in Kentucky
where I'm free
and lucky
I'm lucky because
i met you
and because we
often talk too
i told you that i have
strong feelings for you
and you said
'i do too'
I said that we
should go out
then you said
no and made me pout
when i asked you why
you said 'how can we
we're to far apart
it just can't be'
so i hid my feelings
the best i could
and i pouted again
i just knew i would
until i realized
that this was dumb
i was sad, lonely,
and not having fun
i took a few minutes
to calm down and think too
thats when i realized
just what to do
so here this goes
here's how i feel
i wont say its not
a big deal
like i usually do
to hide how i really feel
but its okay this time
because I'm only being real
oh man
when i talk to you
the time is precious to me
so i say all i can
and you make me
feel so free
you let me loose
from the misery
that i hide from everyone
with a smile, a giggle
a jump and wiggle
....nobody ever notices....
and you rise me
out of my body
you make me feel
as sexy as can be
i feel like your here
right by my side
with hugs and kisses
and a promise you'll be there
to catch me always
if ever i fall
you wont let me down
no, not at all
so when you say
it cant be
all i can think
how can it be any other way
if we try
and we fight
for what we want
and feels so right
for what i love
and care for
i just want you
and nothing more
Dreaming
Blue seas
see me
rose petals
kiss me
the sunshine
makes me limp
with pleasure and joy
i beg and whine
your eyes
are drowning me
im going away
and icry
with you in me
what a wonderful thing
so great, so awesome
it makes my body sing
as it dances
to your rhythm
cant take this for granted
its just what i wanted
to dream this dream
about me and you
and all the things
that we could do
i know it wont
ever come true
but i can dream
and wish too
butterflies flapping their wings
softly caressing
touching here
playing there
the rain slides over my body
between my legs, on my breats
all over me
everywhere it can be
as i ride on the clouds
thining only about
you and me
and what could be
Scream
I sit here
and i scream out
nobody hears
so i do it again
do you hear my pain
coming from within me
nobody answers
so i do it again
can you feel it
can you feel my fear
nobody answers
why cant they hear
so i scream out
once again
its so quiet
so thin
then i realize
it never came out
and I'm all alone
without a doubt
If He'd Tell Me
I think I love him
I think it's true
Now if he'd just
Give me a clue
If he'd tell me
He feels the same
I’d know I wasn't
Heading for pain
I'd know its not
Just me feeling this
I'd know I wasn't chasing
A ride I'm going to miss
If he'd tell me
That he feels
Something in his heart
That is for real
How he wakes up
In the morning
And wishes he could
Say "hey what’s up"
And hold me in his arms
All nice and tight
Just like he did
Through the night
How from morning light
To when he lays down
I'm on his mind,
I'm all around
He hears my voice
He feels my touch
He misses all the things
That he loves so much
If he'd tell me this
Not only would I know
That I love him
But he loves me so.
In the end
I’m lost in this world
It’s swirling around
Its spinning, I’m falling
I hit the ground
And who is there
To help me up
In this world
That is so rough
There are people
Who will say they’re my friend
But is it real
Or just pretend
I sat with one
At lunch today
I was ignored
And went away
So I went to
Someone else
To tell them
How I felt
But she done
The exact same
I went away
With nothing but pain
So how do you know
Who your real friends are
You could ask
Yes you could go that far
But how do you know
That they don’t lie
As easy as
The bluebird can fly
Do you think
They’ll say no
That’s not the way
Things really go
Time is a test
And so is life
Some friends will stay
But only the best
So are these people
Truly my friends
I guess we’ll know
Only in the very end
Hang on
Why hang on
When you wanna give up
Why keep going
When going is so tough
Why keep smiling
Eating and breathing
After you get to the point
That nothing is relieving
You must keep going
You must stay tough
You can’t quit
You can’t give up
You may mean nothing
To someone this spring
But by winter
You could mean everything
You could take someone
Off this earth
You could bring them on
By giving birth
You can help someone
With their struggles
You can make a rock
Out of little pebbles
So why hang on
When you wanna give up?
Because there are people
Who love you so much?
My Secret
If i tell you how i feel
will you listen to what i say
or will you laugh at me
and blow it away
will you act like a boy
and be immature
or will you heal my heart
and be its cure
because it needs
something you posses
something you have
unlike the rest
The way you smile
so sweet and bright
this cant be wrong
it feels so right
im not just wrapped up
in a little girls crush
not just for fun
not just a rush
i dont feel complete
without you
and your on my mind
with all that i do
now if youcould please
just hold me tight
and talk with me
through the night
tell me you have
feelings for me too
and its not just me
and its not just me loving you
because i cant keep
this a secret
outside im calm
but im having a fit
i just cant keep this
inside me no longer
the longer i wait
the more it gets stronger
so here it is
straight up and out
no need to question
no need to doubt
more and more
i love you
and im hoping and praying
you love me too
It Matters
sometimes we're rude
and sometimes we're crude
but does it really matter?
sometimes we pt people down
and sometimes we make them frown
but does it really matter?
sometimes we fight
and be mean just for spite
but does it really matter?
sometimes the kid will cry
and question why
but does it really matter?
sometimes he lays in bed at night
and knows what he's about to do isnt right
but does it really matter?
first he says his prayers
and tells god nobody cares
but does it really matter?
as he picks up the knife
he doesnt think about hte future, kids and a wife
but does it really matter?
then he stabs it through
if only everyone knew
that it really matters.
