American vs. Canadian fights ARE stupid

Yeah, so what if people are from two different NEIGHBORING countries that are supposed to be ALLIES, regardless they shouldn't fight over which is better.  So what if Canadians speak french and english and most American's speak english.  Personally I speak English, Spanish, and some French.  This whole fighting over which is better is pointless.  If all people can do is come up with reasons to put other people down they need to re-evaulate their lives.  Both countries have strong points and weaknesses.  Sure there's differences, but when it comes right down to it, what matters more, the differences that people let seperate them, or the fact that we're all human and we all live on the same Earth?  To quote one of my favorite songs of all time:

"I laugh, I love, I hope, I try
I hurt, I need, I fear, I cry
And I know you do the same things, too
So we're really not that different, me and you"

Half the lists about why American's suck or why Canadians suck say because they put down the other one, but aren't you doing the same back by making that list?  Most the jokes, most the stereotypes aren't true.  This whole thing about American's not speaking proper english, its not that we don't know how, just we don't want to, we like to have our differences.  I'm a proud American, proud of who and what I am.  I have friends that are proud Canadians, but we don't let that come between us and we don't have these stupid little wars between us.

People holding 911 against us isn't being fair to us, we did what we thought was right, that's the important thing, doing what you think is right.  Share the love not the hate, for when all start to fight and all start to hate is when all falls to naught.  To think half the people I know that are older than me would simply fight along in these little arguments instead of doing like this 15 year old and showing what they really think of them.
