1 Blink 182 Concert

Has anyone been to their concerts? As a big fan of The boys I would like to hear anyones views about their 2004 world tour. I'm British so I have been waiting for them to fly over to england for years now. when I heard they were playing in Nottingham I thought wow I love their music, I have 6 of their albums so lets go and see them live. Acting very quickly managed to get remaining tickets which were quite good seats (But I so wish I would have been able to buy standing). I was really excited it was all I could talk about for weeks. I played the new album to death so I could get to know which were my fave songs - The best songs on the album are asthenia, easy target and violence. Their old stuff has to be m+ms, adams song and whats my age again. Now I was really determined to get a T shirt and when I got there I found the black one with the photo on the front was a bargain 18 quid. Everywhere I go i have a picture of them across my chest. There were two supporting acts. The nervous return (the drummer had an afro), which I couldn't hear properly I wanted to sue the mixing desk for poor sound. And Motion City Soundtrack, well all I can say is I remember the keyboard player leaping in the air and balancing all his weight on such a tiny instrument. That did build up the suspense a little seeing the two bands which were good but were obviously not as good as blink. When the boys came on it was so surreal. I could not believe my eyes, Tom and Mark just metres away from me on stage and Travis the greatest drummer ever. I must say their music is a lot quicker and the guitaring sounded really good if not better on stage. I enjoyed the alternative versions of these songs and I do not understand these people saying they were trying too hard to be hardcore. I went home feeling so happy I had heard the best songs live and I hope to see them again I was that impressed. just because their set was only an hour I saw what i wanted and that was to experience the music differently. so listen up girlies, if it was too hard to sing along to or didn't sound like the single then go and see Busted live (GRRRR FAKERS) even they find it hard to be energetic and perform.
