1 a suicide poem

He didn’t feel the same way I feel
He never knew how much I cried
No one really knew that I lied
I said he didn’t matter
After he cheated more then once
They all believed me
When they should have seen
It hurt so much but they didn’t see through it
I didn’t want to live without him
So I picked up a knife
And carved his initials in my arm
They I started to slit my wrists
Watching the blood running down me arm
I realized he should know
How much I really cared
So I took a pen and paper
And started to write my suicide letter
I cried hard as I wrote
I didn’t feel the pain from my arm but from my heart
“You thought I was happy
No I really did care
You didn’t take the time to understand
I love you all but I’m better off this way
You can remember all the good times
Please don’t remember the bad
There’s no use if me being here no one cares
I’m not being selfish I just can’t stay
Just remember me happy remember me fair
As I sign my name and look up
There he stood my man just staring
He called the ambulance as the blood dripped heavy
They took me to the hospital and said to hold on
I didn’t want to but I did for the tears in my man’s eyes
I was alright just gave a little scare
Now I know that people do really care.
