1111 aaaaa Karen Veness - the bestest English teacher ever

I just want everyone to know that Karen Lee Veness is one of the greatest people out there. She was my English teacher for my first year og High School - about 5 years ago. She helped me through soooo many personal problems. My Uncle was sexually abusing and raping me at the time, and she was the only person that I confided in about this. She helped me get through it. I had so many pains about growing up, and going through puberty. I remember that it was a shocking age to be going through. And even though Karen had her own problems, which I won't mention here, she stuck by me. She supported me when I needed it most. And we trusted eachother so much that we went beyond the usual student/teacher relationship. We told eachother everything, and I looked forward to her classes just so that I could stay behind and talk. What we had was stronger than a friendship, but not... love. I loved her as a friend, but nothing further than that. It's hard to explain. It was just a very deep and meaningful friendship. In my second year of High School I moved to another state because my Mum and Stepdad were divorcing. He was seeing other women. I was devastated. I thought that this would be the end of our friendship. Karen gave me her address and told me to always write to her and let her know how I was going. So for five years now I have been writing and emailing, and I miss her so terribly much. We still tell eachother absolutely everything. She's my strength. I have known her for so many years, and I hope that I can know her for many more to come. I want everyone out there to know that teachers may seem nasty or whatever, but they can be the most beautiful people on the inside when they aren't stressing out about teaching classes. Just because a 'teacher' is nasty doesn't mean that they are a nasty 'person'. Many teachers lead two totally seperate lives, and Karen is one of them. I love you, Karen. Always.
