7-4-02, a true story.

It was the Fourth of July in 2002. I had gone over to my friend's house with my sister for their Independence Day bonfire. They had their friend, Lindsey, over. So we roasted marshmellows and told all sorts of scary stories. When the bonfire went down, David, my friend's younger brother, says, "Oh, Micheal, we need to go get some more wood." My sister suggested that the three oldest, me, Micheal (my friend), and Lindsey, go find some more wood. So we did. I went to the pile in the back, and Micheal and Lindsey went to the wood pile in the front yard. All of a sudden, I felt a blow to the back of my head. I couldn't move, and I felt myself fall foward, down into the grass. I could still hear. I could hear Lindsey and Micheal scream. Then I heard David, and my sister, Cristina run up. They screamed bloody murder. Micheal shook me. I came concious. Just then, Lindsey pointed about five feet away on the ground. "Look" she said. There, on the ground, was a metal baseball bat. Covered with my blood.
