I try not to cry even though I know it’s true I’ve lost you forever
It hurts to think that at one point we were what seemed the perfect couple
We were planning our life and how we would live together
I still love you and I always did despite what others might have said
I cared for you more then myself and this is how it ended
You act as if this is normal, like something you have done before
And when you walk away you stand tall and just keep looking straight ahead
Not once, not even for a second, did you look back to my crying eyes
You would not have been able to bear the thought that what you were doing caused me so much pain
I wanted to run after you to tell you how I feel
But how was I to describe a feeling of hate and love together
These feeling were oh so real
Then I went into a stage of denial
I told myself you would come back and that you wouldn’t be long
But how I was wrong
I waited for weeks and then for months with no signs of your return
It drove me crazy not knowing where you were or who you were with
Then one day I finally decided what I had to do
I went to the kitchen and grabbed the knife
I went to the bathroom and filled the tub
I grabbed some paper and a pen and began to write my goodbyes
After writing my letter I ended it with “I lived for your touch and hungered for your love”
That line was to you the one thing in my life that went wrong
I broke down in tears that I had resulted to suicide in hopes that I would make everything better
And as I did this I dropped the knife and it fell to the floor with an empty silence
I realized that I had so much more to live for and this is not how I wanted to end it
With that I picked up my pen and began to write this
It’s just to show not everything has to end with death
Good things can come out of bad situations
Suicide shouldn't be an option for anyone to consider. I myself have experienced the longing to commit suicide but then i realized the good things in my life. I also have seen my best friend commit suicide and it hurts...ALOT. Before you consider suicide an option look around you at all the people that love you and would miss you even if you think they don't care. They really do...
