Image: You have a crush on your mate right. He’s the one who wears his hooded top with the heavy metal logo on it in class. He’s also the one who is also rude to teachers because of his punk attitude. His backpack covered in mini badges with band names and little attitude sayings on them, also patches attached by safety pins. He listens to his loud music in class and brings in his rock magazines for them to get confiscated and he dyes his hair black. Now to me he only seemed to become this over the past year or so. I mean yeah he may have loved the music before but to see someone turn into the stereotypical rock fan makes me wonder is it just temporary. Then to see a girl who is obviously trying too hard to impress him, customises her bag, wears punky fashion necklaces, raves on about the latest pop-punk music and hangs on his every word. And to think she was this normal girl with a good individual image now conforming just so he can like her. No he probably doesn’t like her now she has reinvented herself so never ever change yourself for a boy. Be your own person because if he fancies the faker then he doesn’t like the real you.
Possessions: “You copycat bitch. You bought the same bag/coat/shoes etc”. Now just think about it. You are a teenager, you buy from fashion shops. A shop usually stocks many items of this description. Just because two people have the same taste and end up wearing exactly the same it is our competitiveness that makes us angry. If that girl looks better than you in that top then who cares you probably look good too but are not confident enough to realise.
Friendships: People make and break friends all the time. It is the way relationships evolve. You can be speaking one day then not the next. You change your best friend as many times as you have hot dinners. So why do you insist on sticking to the one friend? Why be so fickle as to drop this so called “best bud” when it feels convenient for you? You can grow apart interact with others but to give a lame excuse as to why you aren’t speaking to them any more is just immoral. Why walk all over someone when it suits you. Charming the pants off someone to get your own way is obviously what you do best and do not accept responsibility for your actions. If you want to get anywhere in life you need a steady friendship with a circle of friends who you can trust and rely on. If you are being your own worst enemy by using people no one will be there for you in future because they will have discovered the true you. And users are ugly. Just because you are popular and two faced do you want to be so selfish?
