Dear son/daughter,
    hello there, i want you to know how much i love you already. i know it hurts you to not know who you are completely becuase your fathr isnt around. well the truth is he is around but you dont know that he is you father. see me and you father are having an afair. he knows that you are his child but you dont know that he is you father. he loves you very much and he helps us out a lot more than you or anyone else knows. here is the story. you father and i have known each other since i was young. he is years older than myself. i am great friends with his live in long term girlfriend. no one knows about us. i love your father with all of my heart and we have tried to be together but it is very complicated. when him and i began our affair neither of us thought these feelings would appear. he has tried to leave his girlfriend several times but we know that if he does leave her to come to us it will lead to many problems. believe it or not we feel that things are probably better this way becuase we are all happy. however when you are old enough to understand this letter we both will sit you down and explain this whole situation to you. if at this point you want us all together we will be. unless things somehow work out before that and we become a family sooner. just know your father is in your life, you do know him well, and that both your father and i love you so much.
