1 Addicted To A Song

Have you noticed that you can hear a good song and the tune stays in your head all day? You have only listened to it once so you don't know the words yet so you begin to hum the tune. It is so different not like any other song out at the moment it is creative and distinctive. Someone else will then hear the same song that same day and whether you notice or not they are probably whistling that tune.
That Loop of song that you can't get out of your mind, it's driving you crazy just thinking about it. It takes over your mind, you think about how great this song really is , craving the next intake, listening to the actual song once more.
Then a week goes by you must have heard this same song five times a day, it improves with age. Everyone likes the song. I ask how can any one song be so popular? What makes everyone whistle, hum or constantly have a repeating loop of song inside their head? Can you really be addicted to a song? Can any one person love a piece of music so much or is it wrong to be obsessed?
I bet you can name loads of songs that you hate, that are OK, that you bought, or that you like so much you've seen them in concert. But this obsession has become so extreme, it's the topic of conversation at the moment.
Finally however much you love it, you begin to despise it. It has driven you crazy. You say you hate it though you blast out that same old song once again.
