As a child I…

…drew innocent pictures with my crayons
…played with my Barbie dolls for hours
…ran about in the sunshine
…held my mother’s hand
…loved birthday parties
…laughed out loud all the time
…made new friends
…bought chocolate from the corner shop every day
…ate McDonalds happy meals
…wore matching outfits with my sister
…remember my grandmother being there for me

But things change don’t they

I sketch with my graded pencils
The Barbie dolls are now hidden away in my cupboard
I do not have any spare time to chase people around
I grew older, I became less dependant on my mother
Go to parties but I will always miss party games and toys
Made new friends and made enemies with old friends
Well I still have LOL but I learn to control my laughter
The shop closed down so buying cheap chocolate is just a memory
Bigger girls need more food and do not play with toys
My mum lets me choose what I want to wear but my sister does borrow my clothes
Sadly my grandmother died when I was 7 (I will always remember her as long as I live) as a young child, the people you love are always your best memories.

It’s more than just the little things in life. Your memories you cherish are yours to keep forever. Losing a relative is hard, especially at a young age because you grow up and some people forget them. I just wanted to let you know that never ever waste your time that you have on this earth. Don’t consider growing up too fast you are only young once.
