2004 LTOWN, PA BABY!

So many things have happened throughout these past four years. Some weren't the best memories. Like, I saw the lives of some of the people I used to be very close to go down the drain because of drugs. I saw Jack A. die at age 19 because he and his friends were not using their best judgement (because it was impaired) and drove while they were messed up on Lord knows what. Rest in peace, J, we miss you. Nick B. and Brian D. committed suicide and no one even knew why. It was all so sudden, and very sad to see two young people with so much potential just give up hope. I've seen friends of mine get in trouble with the law for doing stupid things that they should have known would land them where they don't want to be... (JP, SC, JG, JC, DC, SC, KB, JL, JB... and the list goes on) Losing Dustin over and over again every for three of the four years I was in high school. That's what it felt like anyway. Give me strength to let him go as I move on into the rest of my life. There were lots of arguements, a few fights, and a couple friends lost along the way.
A lot of memories were so great I could hardly contain myself. We used to go to Shooters/Club FX/Temptations every weekend and dance and play pool until it shut down and left us with nothing to do. When Shanna, Cassie, and me stole their dad's Blazer and left BJ and Brant drive and they blew it up. Writing notes in ISS, skipping school in the morning and getting caught by Mr. Varner... (we just never learned) When I started going out with Dustin at the fair... the best and worst night of my life so far. Shanna having her baby (Kyle) and moving into her first place with Jesse. Tasha finally getting over Sheridan and going out with Derek. Tasha and Derek breaking up and going back out over and over again. Cassie's relationship with Jeff and mine with Dustin. (The C. Sisters... so much for that, huh?) Lindsay having all these "guy friends" and no boyfriend. Ashley and me being mad at each other all the time. Courtney moving in three doors down and then moving out so soon. (God I miss her) Swimming in the creek. Todd jumping off the rope swing butt naked while we were night swimming with just the light from that huge flashlight. Going to Burger King almost every night for a year. Hanging out in town. Getting drunk at Vern's (RIP) while she was yelling for us to get those Coolyer boys out of her house. Going to Ashley T's dad's house the day we were supposed to go to the farm show and skipping school. At tech, the makeover unit, the trip the the Whitaker Center, states will be a memory soon, Joy wanting the spelling words on the board, Bippy going out with Joseph... There are just too many good times to name...
To make a long story short, I just want to say to all of you who have been my friends, are my friends, and will be my friends, I love you all more than you could ever know. You've all been such a huge part of my life and I couldn't have made all these memories without you. No matter where I go in life, no matter how far away from this little town or how close, I will never forget any of you. I wish you all the best in your lives and I hope you never forget me either. Thank you for making memories with me and being there for me when I needed you (even if it wasn't everyone at once). Just, thanks for being my friends.
To Dustin, I know he probably won't read this but... I love you more than my words could ever say. You've been such a huge part of my life for the past three years. You were my first real love and I'll never forget you for that. We might never talk again, but I'll always love you deep down...
