1.) You shouldn't be afraid to tell him how you feel...even if you know it will make him mad. BUT you need to tell him those particular things in a nice manner and never raise your voice.
2.) You shouldn't have to go a month and a half without spending some quality time alone together.
3.) Church is not a good place to see that person. And especially when that is the only time you ever see him. Most of the time someone will say something about yall just holding hands and before you know it you wont even be able to sit next to him.
4.) It doesn't matter if you do live 5 minutes away from him. If he still goes to a different school...you still need to avoid this. And ESPECIALLY if neither one of you can drive and he works on the weekends.
5.) Do not ruin a friendship by going out with him. Especially if that particular friend and the guy had just broke up 4 days before that.
6.) Do NOT tell him "no" when he tries to kiss you. I don't care if he says he isn't mad...he is and when he calls you...he will act very awkward towards you
7.) When you argue at least once a week and (one time in particular when we argued every night for a whole week) then you need to know that it is doomed. Even if you say you can make it through it...most of the time you can't.
8.) After you break up...don't try to really strike up a conversation with him. Because if you ask him why he's being so quiet or why he hasn't tried to talk to you, he will say "It's gonna be awkward for the first couple of weeks."
9.) It's gonna hurt to try to be his friend. And especially when he gets a girlfriend a week and half after ya'll break up.
10.) Do NOT talk about him after yall break up to your best friend. Because she will use it against you to try to get him.
11.) No matter how hot he was or is (and he was VERY hot), you shouldn't just stay in it for that. Because then when yall are in a very romantic moment and he asks you why you like him so much...you wont have to lie and make stuff up to him when the only real reason you like him is because of his looks.
12.) When he makes you cry almost every night and you stay up until one in the morning thinking about him (in a bad way), then you shouldn't be doing that to yourself.
13.) If your man can't find time to be with you on Valentine's Day (and in my case it was the first Valentine's Day i had ever been with anyone and I didn't even get to spend it with him)...then that should tell you something about him.....
14.) And then if he cancels all of the plans yall make to go over to each others house...then that is bad news walking.
15.) If you feel like you can't even be yourself with him then why be with him. It may not just be you doing this...it may be the affect he has on you that makes you be this way.
16.) If he gets mad at you for hanging around you cousin and not really paying him any attention (when he was ignoring you first)...then you should know that he is overly possesive.
17.) NEVER say "gosh" to him when he tells you something you don't like. Because this shows him that you really are upset about it and it WILL lead to an argument.
18.) After you say something that makes him mad but yet it's how you feel...don't tell him "I shouldn't have said that and I'm sorry". Because if it's how you feel about something then you shouldn't be afraid to say it and he should respect it instead of getting mad about it.
19.) When he regularly tells you that you're confusing and complicated...then you probably are to him and you just need to go ahead and uncomplicate things and break up with him.
20.) Do NOT rag on yourself just because a hot guy doesn't like you...it doesn't matter The way I see it is that you weren't good enough for him because you have to save that goodness for the right person.
Do you see how much I learned from this one guy...It's scary isn't it
