i'm ok when i'm with you
but it's really scary what i do
when i'm all alone
and i'm in my depressed zone

i take my new best friend
my silver litle safety pin
i scratch my wrist until it bleeds
and with that blood i've met my needs

then we hang out and i have fun
it seems like my unhappy stage is done
but i guess it's just hiding
because i still have thoughts of dying

i'm falling further away
my heart is starting to decay
reality seems to be something i've lost
i'd do anything to be happy, no matter the cost

i'm starting to slip
holding on but losing my grip
i'm on the edge about to fall
it's about to be over, i'm bout to end it all

but that's just too final
mayb i'll do it, mayb i'm in denial
i don't know what to do
i guess i'm just afraid to lose you

but i'm drowning
i'm not smiling i am only frowning
i didn't think i'd get this low
but i guess i have a long way to go

i don't see it gettin better
it might and it may never
and if i do commit suicide
i want you to know that i really tried

i want you to never forget
to live your life and make it worth it
and no matter what.. i love you
think about me in all you do

so if this is goodbye
please try not to cry
i'm better of this way
just know i couldn't stay
