wow it's only been a few days
i feel i've changed in alotta ways
i look at every other poem
and i feel like i didn't write em'
i don't know if this is fake or for real
but with cutting, i think i've closed the deal
i'm pretty sure i've won that war
and i'm so much better than before
it feels like i will be alright
and i'll make it thru another night
i've made it nine days already
takin it nice, slow and steady
a lot of people are here for me
shenay, nick, lauren, kaitie
samantha, meghan, and shaina
who could for get about dana
from people like phil
who helped me say that i will
and who prayed with me and for me
and to the two different christi's
krystal, paige, mary, and the other megan
there till then end, withoutme beggin
i want to thank all of them
for being a never-endng friend.
to the few who told me i couldn't
and to the others, who cried and said i shouldn't
those who just stared
but i still knew they cared
wrote me letters sharin their love
that was krystal, sent from above
a few said i was stupid
and would one day be peirced by cupid
i've heard alotta different stuff
i just wanted to scream "enough is enough"
but they continued
to even sometimes be rude
and each one took part
in putting back together, my heart
and saved me from myself
helped me fix my own helth
because what iwas doin
my life was what i was ruining
but i was loved, cried for, prayed for
and makes me love you even more
i owe my life to you guys
each one is an angel in disguise
just wanted to say thanks and i love you.
and thank God i actually made it thru.
