Collin,
  I always looked up to you and thought you were the best thing ever And when you told the family of your decision to join the marines, I was never more proud of you In my eyes you were the bravest person ever When the day came for you to finally leave I was devastated. All these thoughts ran through my mind like: What if he doesnt come back? What idf he is gone for a long time?? I did not want to let go of you when you hugged me goodbye, becasue I thought what if this is the last hug i will ever get. A few months went by and i recieved many letters saying how much u missed everyone and how great of an experience it was for you. Even though i missed you terribly I was glad you were happy. Then yesterday I was  home and the doorbell rang and i opened the door to find two men in Marine Uniforms stanidng in front of me. My heart dropped. That was the one thing i dreaded, and never wanted to see The two men walked in and sat down on our couch. The only words I can recall hearing are, "we're very sorry but your brother has been MIA for the past 3 weeks." After the two men left i remember going up to my room and crying for what seemed like forever It has been one day and all I think about is you and if i will ever get to hug you or laugh with you or even have our stpid little fights like we used to We are still waiting on them to call us back with more information. I keep praying to God that you are ok and come home safe

I just want to tell you Collin that you are everything to me You are the best brother anyone could ever ask for I miss you soo much And I promis eif I ever see you again I will never fight with you, make fun of you, or be mean to u
