This poem was written the day after the boy who i thought i loved more then anything ended it with me I was distraught but tried not to show it, I brought it out in this poem... enjoy
 


"A recipe for disaster"




Take one young, vulnerable heart,

Learn its ways and twist its innocence,

Taste and tease its sweet tenderness.

Mix sorrow and despair with a pinch of hate,

Beat their love with your blind ignorance,

Boil their tears with your hurtful words, waiting for the longing mixture to fade.

Blend in their glistening eyes with their tender kiss,

Add tears of joy and their smile of sorrow,

Slice the happiness into equal parts,

Melt the realisation of youth with hugs from close friends.

Grease the tray with the drops of a broken heart,

Finally place the hurtful pain in a fire of rage and despair,

Keep cooking until the heart is charcoaled black.
