Who am I?

I’m writing a poem about me
Who am I? That’s the topic as I see
I? Me, myself and I
I’ll figure it out, I know I can try.

My name consists of 6 letters
Each one of them makes me:

Crazy in all the days, I try to be
Aware of injuries and consequences there is
Ready to love, not hate, anyone close to me
More hate, more wars, how can people stand this?
Easily convinced about the meaning of life
Not seeing the faults of others, frees me from strife

In the morning, in front of the mirror
I don’t see who really I could be
During the day, I pretend to be someone I’m not
At night, on my bed, I look up and see
My ceiling: It needs cleaning

All I’ve ever dreamed is all I have today
Friends and family, that’s all I care about anyway
Why don’t I take crazy chances?
Going out is better than staying in.
Let me take a shot at all those dances
Saying what I feel; it’s no sin

Mangos, peaches and oranges I love
What’s the difference between a pigeon and a dove?

I am who I am
Stop asking who I am
What you see, yes is what you get
Look inside, deep, you won’t regret.

I wish peace would surround us
To have peace, we need love not hate

Who am I? Nobody special
Just a student writing a poem about me
I’m not partial
I’m just ME
