1 A second thought

To all you people who are all so split over Pro-Life or Pro-Choice. I want you to hear my story:
I am 15 years old right now. I have a 2 month old baby girl. She's almost 3 months old now. I was 14 when I got pregnant with her. I wasn't the best mother material at the time either. I drank, smoked weed, and did other stuff I'd rather not mention. When I met my boyfriend, we struck up a very strong realtionship. I asked my Mom to put me on birth control, but she couldn't grasp the fact that her little girl was doing such a thing so she said No. I tried condoms, but one broke. I thought everything would be ok since there is such a slim chance that you'll get pregnant. Well about a month later, I was late, and my mom was freaking out when I told her. I wanted her to know, she needed to. She went to the store and bought a test. It came up positive. I called my boyfriend and told him, he didn't know what to say, do, or think. I asked my mom not to tell anyone, but everyone knew soon. People in my family recommended an Abortion, but I said No, because I wanted to give my baby a chance at life. I considered it though, I never wanted her to know the evils of life. Death, pain, lies, cheating, being hungry, etc. I thought about it, but that's all. I could never do it. I considered giving her up for adoption also, but I wanted to see her grow up. Hear her first, babble, coo, word. See her first smile, her first step. Watch her discover all there was, the colors, smells, sounds, tastes, feels. I decided to quit all the bad stuff I was doing and go through with it and do whatever I had to do to keep her with me. Now, I look at her everyday and everyday I realize again how beautiful she is and how much she must Love me. I wouldn't change the decision I made for the world. She means eveything to me and I would do anything for her. I know that it can be hard, and you'll miss how it used to be without a kid, but it will all be worth it when you see their first smile, or hold them for the first time. I was the happiest person you could ever meet when I heard her cry when she was born. I'll never forget that day.
So to all those people who are for abortions, please think about the life your child could have, even if it's with parent/s other than you. At least they get a life.
And to all those people againt abortions. Everyone has their own decision made by themselves. No matter what you say, it won't change what they do with their life and their child's life. They live with their decision everyday, and can never replace the child they would have had. Please lay off of them and let them decide for themselves.
