A Cutter's Repeat

As the anger builds in my mind,
I try to hold it in,
But I breakdown inside.
I hold the blade in my hand,
And press it against my skin,
I tear my self up on the outside,
To escape the pain within.
Still feel the hurt inside,
So I press the blade down harder,
Drag it across my arm,
Until I cant go any futher.
My eyes become blurry,
As I stare at my arm covered in red,
I feel comfort inside of me,
But in awhile I'll wish i was dead.
These piercing eyes,
Look down on me,
Call me a freak,
Whey they see these scars on me.
They dont understand,
The torment and pain in me,
They dont ever see,
The lie that I have to be.
Now I feel myself,
Starting to drift away,
I lie down and stare at the ceiling,
And remind myself that one day it will all be okay.
