There's a reason why most people dont know im an atheist.  It's because i know that if most people knew, they'd shut me out.  They'd call me an infidel.  I wouldn't be able to survive at a catholic school.  Why?  Because i don't believe that there is a god.  A lot of people don't bother to learn anything about you once they find out that you're an atheist.




Now don't get me wrong, I love debating about religion.  I do however, hate it when people ostracize you for it.  If you cant handle anything saying that your god might not exist, please do not read further.  If, however, you wish to learn more about other religions and a bit about your own, feel free to read ahead.  All i ask is that u consider my points fairly and think about them before you write responses saying im an idiot.




I'm tired of people going around saying, "There has to be a god because how could we have this intricate universe without something to create it."  That's a good point, although you leave out the idea that if it's so improbable that this universe could appear out of nowhere, it must be even more improbable that a fully-formed being with the ABSOLUTE power as the god we speak of has could just pop out of nothingness.  I mean, if god created everything, what created god?  I cant believe people can actually believe in creationism (sorry to get a bit pushy) when almost ALL scientists believe in evolution.




And i cant believe christians can say that if you dont follow the christian doctrine you'll go to hell for an eternity  do you realize how long that is?  it never stops  Not even Hitler deserves neverending pain.  No one deserves that kind of punishment.
