1-here's a story of my x-punk/goth friend

ok, here's the deal.my old friend thinks she's punk.I want u all to e-mail me and tell me whether you think she REALLY is punk/goth or not.oh,and as you read this e-mail,keep in mind that she is definitely not my friend anymore,and that I do not consider myself punk or goth or anything-sure I'm a little prep,but I'm not gunna get carried away with this whole punk/prep/goth/freak/cheerleader judgemental system.anyways,I will tell you in a few seconds why my friend thinks she's punk,and why I think she's just some preppy
freak who thinks she's punk/goth,w/e.I hope this story will serve as an example to you

Reasons she thinks she's punk:
1.all her friends are punk/goth
2.she has punk clothes
3.she listens to punk music(hard rock)
4.she goes to a youth group(both of us r Christians) that punk people also go to
5.she talks online to punk/goth friends
6.she owns punk things
7. her brother is punk(ish)

ok,now you have a few reasons why she thinks she's punk,or at least the main definitions she uses to explain "punk"

now I will give reasons I think she isn't punk:
1.all her friends are people who think they r goth/punk
2.two outfits do not qualify you as punk
3.having one CD that your brother copies 4 u does not qualify you as punk
4.also that youth group has people who rn't really punk
5.she pretends she is a 15 year old model that lives in england(she is 13,lives in colorado,and is a regular girl who goes to school)
6.hmmmmmm...having a little CD case with flames on it is punk?
7.her brother pretends to be a girl and cybers online w/other guys...ew

here are some excess reasons she isn't punk:
a.when she grows up she wants to be a bikini model
b.she wears preppy clothes ALL the time to school
c.she also wears slutty clothes
d.ok,this is what her room looks like:she is obsessed with Fairies,moons,stars,suns,and Legolas(orlando bloom).the only posters she has in her room are of N'sync,lance bass,and legolas.her room has all these little frilly lacey decorations and trimmings all around
e.at my 13th b-day party,she's wearing a tinkerbell shirt that says I Believe on it and all of the sudden out of nowhere,she says "I'm going gothic".
f.she has these "stud" bracelets that she got at hot topic and pac sun-and that makes her punk???pshhh...yea right

well I could go on 4 ever,if you want to agree,tell me a simular story,or disagree and actually believe that a person can be a gothic model of bikinis,e-mail me.if you thought this was good,copy n paste it into a new e-mail and foward onthanks
