There were nights when the world was cruel
That everything that mattered just faded as I watched it fly out the window.
There were days when the world was so sad
That my body froze at home when I longed to be by your side forever.
But I remembered what you said so long ago,
Of how It would be over again all so soon.
It didnt stop my crying,and scarlet remained upon my face,
But your words made me strong again somehow.
Since you comfort me in times when noone else was there,
I can be ready to face the day again tomorrow.
When i think of how our friendship will grow and never end.....
I can smile just like that, even with the tears in my eyes,
I can take myself to yesterday, as long as it comes back.
I can picture you like that, there in front of me.
I can see you as I dream, but the petals eventually fall of the flower.
Maybe to see you again would put a dozen more daisies in the vase.
Tell me what I want to hear, then make that happen. I miss you.
I love you, I need you more.
