1 This America/Canada Thing Is INSANE!

Talk about immaturity Neither America nor Canada are doing themselves a favor by participating in this "war." I'm an American, and I'm ashamed to have these immature brats portraying our country like this. I think Canada is a great country, and never once have I thought that you were all lumberjacks, lived in igloos, or hunted moose. Those things never crossed my mind when I thought of Canada. Most Americans don't. The people here are just a couple of brats with nothing better to do then disgrace their countries. I will admit that George Bush has made some mistakes and done things that I don't agree with. But just because George Bush thinks like that doesn't mean that all Americans do. I may be a Conservative, but I don't agree with Bush. America is a great country. Canada is a great country. The people in Canada like the same things as Americans and vise versa. We like to shop, surf the web, go to movies, eat out, talk on the phone, be with friends, and we all have pride in our country. I respect my country, America. I also respect Canada. So come on guys. This is completely idiotic. We are both respectable countries with the same long term goal: To have a better future. We're not very different at all in terms of thinking. Canada was there for us on 9/11 and I can assure you that America would be there if anything happened to Canada. We're not as bloodthirsty as you think us to be. You have to look at it from our perspective...on the whole invading Iraq thing-- We had just been attacked on our own soil. Iraq had nuclear weapons that could destroy a large number of people. We didn't want to risk being attacked at a much, much, MUCH larger scale. So I guess what I'm trying to say is, we're the same. Come on and grow up. Peace.
By the way, I envy Canada-- Comedian/actor Colin Mochrie and country singer Shania Twain are Canadian
