Top reasons why preps shouldn't be hated by "goths" or "punks"

10. Preps like to wear color, there's more to life than black
-Everyone but preps accually do work. So maybe they don't want dirt to show up on their clothes. Did you think of that?
9. Preps make good grades because we care about the future, and don't think that everyone is out to ruin our lives
-I'm not goth but I know that they don't think people want to ruin their lives. I dont.
8. Preps may shop at the same stores and have the same type of clothes, but they are more creative than the mass produced black tee shirt that reads "no one understands me"
-You call that hippy shit creative?
7. Preps don't bitch about how much we hate goths or punks, sorry but we don't really care enough to keep up our side of some stupid war
-Yes you do. You're doing it know.
6. Preps know that just because no one understands us, it doesn't make us an "artist"
-If you're going to study punks and goths, why not study the ones who DON'T like art.
5. Preps try to be happy rather than depressed
-yeah. try.
4. Preps are all different, we have different physical appearances, different beliefs, different personalities, if you got to know us before labeling us all the same maybe we would do the same for you.

3. Preps don't freak out if our friends talk to "goths" or "punks" or go off and call them posers or sell outs, we have faith in our friendships and don't bond over a similar taste in music
-Yes you do. If you don't, YOUR NOT A PREP.

Preps respect that people want to be their own person, wear black if they want, listen to different music and hang out with other people with the same interests, if we "ridicule" people like you, it's not cause your different, its because you hate us for no reason, maybe it's jealously maybe its just ignorance
-You're kids like us. We all are otherwise you're NOT classified as something.
1. "Preps" don't label "goths" and "punks" anymore than "goths" and "punks" do, all groups are at fault

We can't respect each other until both groups go out of their way to change
Let's stop hating each other for reasons as stupid as clothing
