10. Preps like to wear color, there's more to life than black
--People who aren't preps don't JUST wear black, and yes there is more to life than black but that shouldn't cancel black out or anything. NON preps like color too, thanks.
9. Preps make good grades because we care about the future, and don't think that everyone is out to ruin our lives
--Maybe I should make my own list and says punks/goths/others dont STEREOTYPE We get good grades, too, ya know. Just because we dont flaunt it doesn't mean we dont get it. And WE'RE not the people freaking out when the world's not in love with them.
8. Preps may shop at the same stores and have the same type of clothes, but they are more creative than the mass produced black tee shirt that reads "no one understands me"
--Uh, that was a statement of hypocrisy. You dress the same and that's creative? No. If we wear shirts that say smartass things, that's OUR style, its what we want to wear, and you can just lay off Maybe we just like clothes that actually fit us.
7. Preps don't bitch about how much we hate goths or punks, sorry but we don't really care enough to keep up our side of some stupid war
--You say that, except here you are doing it now. If goths or punks do it, its because every prep we know walks around the school like his/her shit dont stink, and it's annoying.
6. Preps know that just because no one understands us, it doesn't make us an "artist"
--Is that so? I was pretty sure you guys didn't know anything.
5. Preps try to be happy rather than depressed
--And obviously little to your believe, neither do goths or punks. Just because we haven't had our lives handed to us on a silver platter and have it tougher doesn't make us depressed. Maybe we're not out for the whole sunshiny attitude.
4. Preps are all different, we have different physical appearances, different beliefs, different personalities, if you got to know us before labeling us all the same maybe we would do the same for you.
--Oh my deepest apologies, but when you shove past people in the hall or even worse just IGNORE goths and preps, we dont really have the CHANCE to get to know you, now do we?
3. Preps don't freak out if our friends talk to "goths" or "punks" or go off and call them posers or sell outs, we have faith in our friendships and don't bond over a similar taste in music
--So why don't you talk to us yourselves? Scared? We don't bite

Preps respect that people want to be their own person, wear black if they want, listen to different music and hang out with other people with the same interests, if we "ridicule" people like you, it's not cause your different, its because you hate us for no reason, maybe it's jealously maybe its just ignorance
--If they respected it, they wouldn't bash us so much about it or look down on us like we're some kinda lower lifeform. What do you preps have on us? Nothing. Nothing but uselessness. We're not jealous. We just think we deserve the same respect you do, and your little prep group doesn't seem to think that.
1. "Preps" don't label "goths" and "punks" anymore than "goths" and "punks" do, all groups are at fault
--this is the one area where I will agree with you. But what you added at the end...YOU preps need to play your part in ending the hate, because I can tell ya one thing right here, Babe, we're not movin till you do.
