and often over nothing at all i cry
i try i really do
i want myself to stay tru
i want the strait and narrow path for me
but i swear the subject of drugs will not let me b
i fought 4 so long
till i had to give in
then came the pains of guilt for i have sinned
but as i did them more and more
the guilt no longer crossed my mind
my friends were proud of me
they said i had finally been set free
now that i am like them
i can see i do not want this
let me b
i told them what i thought
they didnt want to stop
even if they were cought
mow i have no one
my friends have left
left for the world of sex drugs and petty theft
now i realize that the reason i cried is bc i longed to be excepted
now all i want is to be protected
from the world my friends have left me for
ive closed this door
in my life
never again will i want to reach for the knife
there will be no more drugs in my life
i will not feel bad for myself
or sad
i will not cry
i will only try
