11111 Bloody Mary - aka Queen Mary Tudor 1st 1111

After reading some submissions on this site asbout the bloody mary legend, i feel I have to correct some people; not on the actual legend (I will not contradict this) but the actual history of the supposed figure for 'Bloody Mary'.
Queen Mary Tudor was the daughter of King Henry V111. Her mother (henry's first wife) Catherine Of Aragon, was a strong catholic, and so was England at that time. After many miscarried pregnancies, and stillborn babies, Catherine had given Henry only a daughter, when he was desperate for a son. He divorced her, and this made the head of the catholic church (The Pope) very unhappy. So, henry made his own church, the Church Of England, with himself as the head.
He got rid of all the catholic monasteries and all that, but anyway, enough of that. The years went by, England now settled as a Protestant country, but then Mary, a devout catholic took the throne. She forced england back into catholicism, to much protest. Aa war and other problems followed, Mary became more unpopular by the minute. She ended up with the nickname: 'Bloody Mary' owing to regular executions, and burnings of over 300 protestants.

She was not, as I have read, Henry The V111's wife, she died of womb cancer. She is often confused with Mary Queen Of Scots, i believe they were related??? Elizabeth (mary tudors sis) chopped of Mary Queen of Scots's head.

I have to say, i am to scared to try the legend myself, there are many variations, i believe there may be some truth, but im to scared, so, how will I ever know :P
