This boy
there was once this boy in my life
this boy for now will go unnamed
this boy meant so much to me, even thnough we werent too close
i remeber this boy from way far back.. i was so small
we walked to the lake.. i fell back. he picked me up
he put me on his shoulers. i felt like i was on top of the world.
i remember as he pushed me on our swings
my mom yellin that i was goin too high
i truly loved this boy, a love like no other
but, as things will have it
that was the last time i would ever see this boy..
he chose the wrong path, not my choice
i can still vaguely remember his voice.
i got so excited when his phone calls came.
he asked me how i was, asked if they're were any boys he needed to beat up
that was the last time i talked to this boy.. almost 3 years ago now
time came and went. as it does
then the call came that changed me..
the call came late. i woke up and answered
the voice asked for my dad.. i knew something was wrong.
that was the first time i saw him cry..
he gave us the news
this boy i loved had chose a wrong path..
yea it killed me i didnt know what to do.. yea i stayed strong
this boy had o.d'd on herion. his own choice..
this boy was taken from me. i still, and will always love this boy...
though we werent too close
