10. Cheering for a sport could never be a sport.

>> okay first of all...cheering for football n basketball are like practices the real sport part is at the competitions

9. You can cheer in the bleachers you don't need a bunch of people to run out on the field to give your support to a team.

>> ya u can cheer in the bleachers but i would think the name of the sport would kinda help u figure this one out "cheerLEADERS" we lead the cheers for the people in the stands. duh

8. Cheerleaders can practice before the season and in sport rules that is not aloud. So therefore it can't be a sport.

>> i don't know where u live but in my county our schools can't practice before the season.

7. Any "sport" that takes getting ready for and putting on make up doesn't have what it takes to be a sport.

>> thats SOOO NOT TRUE what about dance?? and gymnastics?? n everyone has makeup on for all sports that are girls n u have to get ready for any game. u put ur uniform on don't u??

6. You don't need to look pretty during sports but you do in cheerleading, so it can't be a sport.

>> u just said that...so read what i said above

5. Sport are played in the game, not on the sidelines.

>> like i said before, cheerLEADING on the sidelines r like practices...

4. Any "athlete" in a "sport" that worrys about breaking a nail is not an "athlete", and only "athletes" play sports.

>> cheerleaders can't have long nails so that one can't be true.

3. Shouting doesn't take physical ability, how sports use physical ability.

>>actually it does...u know how loud we shout? and we don't just shout.

2. Watching a sport is called viewing, which is obviously not a sport at all.

>>we're CHEERING for the sport not watching. n again the games r like practices for competitions.

1. Flapping your hands in the hair and jumping up and down, doesn't look cool and anyone can do that.

>> alright. first of all we don't "flap out hands in the air" our motions are tight. and actually it does look cool it's one of the PREFORMING sports...n at all schools it's considered a spot second of all...thats not all we do. third of all...yea anyone can flap their hands in the air...not anyone can make it look as good as we do which would explain why they're not cheerleaders and running doesn't look cool ethier...anyone can run.
